It sounds exceptional to be called a leader. You absolutely have to be an exception because most people want to have the title of a leader, but they don’t understand the sacrifices that accompany. It’s not about the power to call the shots. It’s about taking care of people, so they become better and the group becomes better.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”
